ADRA Thailand is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Officer based in Mae Sot, Thailand for CSO Development for Promotion and Advancement of Migrant Rights Project

 

Application Deadline: 31 December 2019

Job Overview: The M&E Officer conducts and designs monitoring system and tools based on the logframe of the project proposal.

 

 

REPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Collaboration with project team members and CSO partners to collect data
  • Provide assistance to internal or external evaluators to conduct project baseline survey, mid-term evaluation, and final evaluation
  • To be able to write success stories to illustrate project impact
  • Be responsible for compiling data according to the M&E plans
  • Be able to provide periodical M&E report
  • Assist Project Manager in preparing quarterly and annual narrative reports
  • To prepare and analyse project to improve project performance
  • To set up, assess, revise, and maintain effective M&E systems in cooperation with project team and partners
  • To assess current monitoring tools, revise and/or prepare new monitoring tools as needed in the M&E plans to ensure measurement of relevant indicators
  • To provide capacity building to partner organizations and project staff to ensure data collection according to the M&E plans
  • To observe and provide feedbacks to partner organizations concerning the activities they undertake
  • To design tools to capture qualitative and quantitative data
  • Be responsible for compiling data according to the M&E plans (internal and external data)
  • Perform other M & E tasks as required

 

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:

 

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

 

Experience:

  • Familiar with the migrant context of Thailand;
  • Experience working with NGOs in the field of management or monitoring and evaluation (2-3 years preferable)

 

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in English and Thai (written and oral)
  • Fluent in spoken Burmese is a plus

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Significant experience in working with migrant communities
  • Sound computer skills in word, excel, and power point
  • Ability to work under pressure and to cope with multi-tasking
  • Ability to interact in a sensitive and diplomatic way
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural setting
  • Transparent, organized and responsible work style
  • Team spirit
