Position: Grants Accountant
Assignment duration: One year contract with likely extension
Duty station: Bangkok
JOB BACKGROUND: The Grants Accountant supports the Finance Department ensuring that all financial tasks and duties regarding grants are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Produce grant financial reports that are accurate and timely; ensure donor financial requirements are met; ensure grant budgets are accurate and realistic; produce budget vs actual expenditure reports for grants; update grants data in SAP; review Grants Tracking System. Ensure compliance of cost recovery policy and procedures including tracking. Conduct grant project audit if required.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, or business administration; minimum four years’ experience in grants administration or financial analysis; attention to accuracy and detail; proactive and flexible; good English skills.
