IIE/Southeast Asia is a branch of the Institute of International Education (IIE), a private, non-profit education organization headquartered in New York. Founded in 1919, IIE is the oldest and largest educational exchange agency in the United States. It is best known for administering the Fulbright and Humphrey Fellowship Programs on behalf of the U.S. Department of State.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose of Position:
The Program Assistant provides administrative and operational support to all functions of the English Language Assessment activities within the IIE Southeast Asia office. This includes providing customer service for clients in Thailand and the surrounding region. The position is based in Bangkok, Thailand.
To be considered for this position, applicants must hold valid authorization to work in the Kingdom of Thailand.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Proactively correspond with existing and potential clients. Maintain client relationships; escalate non-standard issues to management as needed.
Support logistics and administration of regional activities.
Manage and administer product ordering, inventory, and shipping systems. This involves packing, lifting, and carrying boxes weighing up to 30 kg on a daily basis and occasionally transporting materials to the post office and other locations within Bangkok.
Maintain up-to-date contact list for past, current, and potential clients.
Score tests and execute requisite follow-up activities.
Record sales and cash receipts.
Prepare monthly sales and inventory reports.
Serve as test proctor; deliver proctor trainings to clients.
Participate in fairs and other public events to reach wider audiences with information about assessment services and the overall work of IIE/SEA.
Responsible for complying with applicable contract and sponsor requirements and following all IIE policies and procedures.
Performs other related duties and functions as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience:
Undergraduate degree; 1-2 years of administrative experience
Fluent speaking/reading/writing in Thai and English is required. Non-native English speakers must provide a copy of a valid TOEIC score of at least 800 (or equivalent)
Ability to organize, process, and complete multiple tasks under strict deadlines
Strong judgment and ability to solve problems independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and database management. Knowledge of contact databases and CRM systems a plus.
Professional and mature demeanor
Ability to focus on details and a strong commitment to quality
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability and willingness to travel within designated local region, and possibly internationally, if requested
