Context:
Under the general supervision of the Migrant Assistant Unit Project Officer in Bangkok, Thailand, and the direct supervision of the Project Officer of the Child Care Services and Psychosocial Assistance programme at the Bangkok Immigration Detention Centre (IDC), the incumbent will be assigned to the following duties and responsibilities.
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
Provide migrant children within a detention setting with recreational activities based on their unique needs resulting from their personal histories.
Collaborate with project staff, including psychologist, on daily needs of the children, in preparing activity plans and assessments for the children based on individual achievements.
Ensures that material is culturally appropriate for a broad spectrum of cultural backgrounds.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Thai National
Education and training to the possession of a degree in child development, child and adult psychology, psychometrics and ECD specialists. Master’s degree in child development, child and adult psychology, psychometrics and ECD specialists is desired.
Two to Five years of relevant experience of teaching and/or working in a public or private child care facility.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and handle a stressful environment
Knowledge and previous experience in children play therapy, behaviour interventions, and recreational activities such as music and games.
Works collaboratively to develop educational material and activities for children within a multicultural detention setting.
Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of child development programs principles, theories, practices, methods and techniques used in early childhood classroom instruction, curriculum frameworks, and the desired results system; classroom procedures which promote appropriate conduct and motivation for learning
Knowledge of child guidance principles and practices; interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy; current trends and research concerning the physical, language and social growth and development of children; standardized and performance based assessment practices.
Knowledge of human behaviour and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioural and affective disorders.
Prior Experience working with children living in a detention setting is desired.
Working knowledge of fundamentals of music is desired.
Excellent typing skills and intermediate computer skills are desired.
Languages
Good communication skills in English and Thai is required.

Context:
Under the direct supervision of the Programme Manager in Bangkok, the successful candidate will support the implementation of emergency material and service support for minority groups from Myanmar as well as other vulnerable migrants detained in Thailand at Immigration Detention Centres (IDCs) and Shelters for Women, Children and Families.
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities:
In coordination with the project staff and Procurement and Finance colleagues, support the delivery of material and service support to minority groups from Myanmar and project staff activities in the field by assisting field staff with Purchase Requisition (PR) forms, payment requests, IMPREST clearance, cash advance requests and coordinating as needed with local companies and service providers including local hospitals.
In coordination with project staff in Bangkok, draft in English and translate into Thai official letters, the provision of material and service support to IDCs and Shelters, and upcoming schedule for health assessments and other missions, to be sent to a range of Royal Thai Government (RTG) agencies and provincial/district level institutions.
In coordination with Procurement and Travel colleagues, support project staff by drafting agendas and overall schedule for health assessments and other missions, arranging for staff travel, hotel accommodation and car rental, assisting staff members with their travel authorization (TA), UNDSS TRIPS registration and travel expense claims (TEC), salary payment requests for non-payroll staff, and generally ensuring the smooth implementation of the missions.
In coordination with the Resource Management Department in Bangkok, in particular the administrative, human resource, finance and procurement staff as well as staff travel under the Operations Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting new project staff to the specific needs of the project, including an introduction to the project and outlining all administrative to be taken in the first days of employment, including for example:
Contract preparation and signing
ID Badge
IT and communication equipment
Office seating arrangement (in Bangkok or in the Field)
Travel and temporary accommodation to duty station, including travel authorization (TA)
PSEA training requirement
Registration with UNDSS TRIPS
Basic (II) & Advance Security in the Field Trainings
Mandatory UNDSS security briefing for UN staff traveling / working in the south of Thailand
In coordination with Procurement colleagues and project staff, assist in providing documentation support (copies of PR, quotations, invoices, schedules, etc.) to support the preparation of periodic donor reports, interim reports, and the final reports.
Perform any other such duties as may be required.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Thai National
University Degree in Business Administration and/or Management, international relations, political science, social science, or relevant field
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a multi‐cultural environment and respect diversity
At least two years of work experience in migration issues for non‐governmental organizations, international governmental organizations or government institutions
Sound knowledge of programme implementation and evaluation and familiarity with financial and business administration
Team work oriented but with a capacity to work independently
Good writing and communication skills
Computer literate with excellent knowledge of excel
Languages
Very good command of English and Thai. Knowledge of Burmese or other languages spoken by minority groups from Myanmar is a strong asset.

Context:
The Bali Process on People Smuggling, Trafficking in Persons and Related Transnational Crime (Bali Process) is a non-binding and state-driven process involving 48 members (countries and agencies), including the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and IOM.
The Regional Support Office of The Bali Process (RSO) was established in 2012 to facilitate the operationalization of the Regional Cooperation Framework (RCF) to reduce irregular migration in the Asia and Pacific region. The RSO aims to support and strengthen practical cooperation on refugee protection and international migration, including human trafficking and smuggling, and other components of migration management in the region. The RSO is co-managed by the Australian and Indonesian Government in consultation with UNHCR and IOM.
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and the guidance/direct supervision of the Back-office Program Manager, the incumbent will provide support in all finance functions to the RSO.
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
Ensure that project expenditures are managed in compliance with IOM rules and regulation, in coordination with relevant units in IOM
Provide advice to the RSO personnel on finance-related matters.
Monitor and keep records of all project expenditures for budget control and financial reporting purposes.
Prepare monthly financial reports for the project.
Prepare budget performance submissions and finalization of budget performance reports; analysing variances between approved budgets and actual expenditures.
Ensure preparation of financial reports according to the requirements and restrictions indicated by the donor(s); prepare and customize financial reports from IOM’s accounting system (SAP‐PRISM) for submission to concerned agencies and donors, which includes providing technical clarifications and consultations as requested.
Assist in the setting‐up and monitoring of financial systems and checking of supporting documentation.
Assist in costing products and services in accordance with IOM Procurement Guidelines.
Assist the project manager(s) in preparing budgets for proposals as may be required.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Completed Bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
Thai National.
At least five years of related work experience.
Experience working with international organizations or governmental institutions in a multicultural setting a distinct advantage.
Advanced writing and communication skills in English and Thai.
Languages
Fluency in English and Thai is required. Ability to speak Bahasa Malaysia or Bahasa Indonesia a distinct advantage.
