Position : Program Coordinator

Help without Frontiers Thailand Foundation (HWFTH) is a Thai register NGOs provides help and support across national frontiers, as well as across the frontiers that may exist in our minds and hearts, to all people who, through no fault of their own, find themselves in an emergency situation from which they are not able to escape without assistance.
Our goal is to provide lasting help and values in form of health and education. Especially children and youth have grown dear to us.
ROLE PURPOSE
Under the overall supervision of Director, the Program Coordinator will be in charge of leading and facilitating all programmes under HWFTH (design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation) and managing the relationships with partners and donors. The incumbent works closely with the Programme Officers and helps them to develop implementation plans for their projects including plans for monitoring and evaluation. S/he will contribute to achieve the vision and mission of the organization. The Program Coordinator ensures effective implementation of the project s/he is responsible for and supervises a team/colleagues.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Programme Planning / Development
Develop HWFTH’s short and long term strategy plan.
Develop HWFTH’s annual plan, action plan.
Develop HWFTH’s annual budget and human resources management plan.
Ensures the program teams are implementing program activities in line with donor requirements to achieve project outcomes.
Coordinates the preparation of timely and cost effective operational plans, budgets and strategic plans with the team.
Management
Develop, direct, and facilitate the design of the strategic plan.
Lead the programme management of all projects of the organization.
Facilitate the establishment and implementation of standards of accountability, effectiveness and efficiency in the achievement of the organization’s program framework.
Ensure that the Program Manager and Officer are provided with technical support in program management; design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation/assessment/reflection.
Facilitate and coordinate the drafting and management of the annual budget.
Regularly monitor and follow-up the implementation and management of all projects/activities including reports and overview the budget plan vs. actual spending in order to meet high standard.
Ensure quality and timeliness of reports before they are endorsed for approval and to be sent to relevant donors.
Manage, motivate, develop, coach, and monitor team performance and drive them to achieve the performance expectations/standard.
Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting
Lead and facilitate the program activity meetings.
Monitor the progress of the program activities and evaluate the effectiveness of the projects.
Together with the project managers / program managers compile reports according to donor requirements.
Develop monitoring and evaluation tools for the programmes.
Design a system to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the program activities.
Prepare project proposals in cooperation with the Grant Manager and Fundraising Manager for appropriate donors.
Qualifications required
A university degree in social science, political science or related field.
Desirable profile
Minimum 5 year experience in planning, monitoring, and evaluating programs and at least 3 years in a management or mentoring position;
High-level project management skills, including programme planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation;
Excellent written and oral communication skills and a high level of competence in English, with the ability to write analytical reports, donor reports and project proposals;
Experience in providing support to colleagues working on thematic projects, including content editing their reports;
Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to network in a multi-cultural environment and to develop strong professional relationships with partner and other stakeholders;
Excellent organizational and managerial skills;
Ability to analyses, integrate and/or abridge diverse information from varied sources and produce crisp and sharp reports/articles/statements;
Team and project management skills which produce measureable revenue outputs;
Accountability and the ability to deliver on agreed tasks to a high standard;
Ability to work independently and to meet deadlines;
Ability to work in a multicultural environment and with people from a diversity of regions, professional backgrounds and levels of authority;
Willingness to travel, as required.
