ActionAid is an international organisation, working with over 25 million people in more than 40 countries for a world free from poverty and injustice. ActionAid Thailand (AAT) is part of the ActionAid International Federation and has been working with people and communities in Thailand for a decade addressing issues related to poverty,  human rights, education, and women’s and youth’s empowerment.

ActionAid Thailand is expanding its operations and looking for highly skills and motivated Thai nationals with good English communication skills to fill the following position:

Accountant

The position is responsible for the day-to-day and monthly accounting and in administration of the Finance Function. The position will ensure that accounting practice is performed in compliance with ActionAid International (AAI) and ActionAid Thailand (AAT) procedures and regulations. Key responsibilities include cash management, bank management, book keeping, balance sheet accounts control and reconciliation, payroll and taxation, partnership management, audit and risk management

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor Degree in Accounting is required

2-4 year practical experience in accounting

Thorough understanding of international finance and accounting systems

Thorough understanding of local finance and accounting systems

Knowledge of and/or experience of NGO and/or Development sectors

Good knowledge of computerised accounting packages, MS Excel

Knowledge of databases, VISION and SUN system is an advantage

Financial reporting, analysis and management

Fluency in written and spoken English and Thai
