Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the development, planning, and delivery of action strategies and plans aligned with campaign, project, and organizational strategies. This includes conducting situational analysis, strategically identifying action moments, integrating activists, scouting actions, designing and delivering non-violent direct action, and evaluating them in accordance with established regional and international best practices.
• Ensure integration of activists across Greenpeace’s work and establish strong and trusted relationships with the activist network and allies. Foster a safe, committed, diverse volunteer and activist community, and assemble skilled and prepared action teams.
• Set, coordinate, and consistently deliver project action plans in line with campaign and engagement objectives, including various activities, timelines, and budgets.
• Maintain best practices and standards in Public Engagement and Actions (PEA), ensuring that the project complies with all relevant policies and guidelines.

Requirements

• Possess solid knowledge and a proven track record in project management, campaigning, field logistics, direct action design, planning, and delivery.
• Demonstrate proven experience in capacity development and have developed and delivered training in the areas of actions and creative campaigning.
• Exhibit proven experience in managing and engaging with communities of practice related to actions, having the ability to motivate, inspire, and deal with conflicts.
