MISSION

PROJECT OFFICER

AUTOMOTIVE TRAINING CENTRE PROJECT | IECD THAILAND

CONTEXT

In 2024, IECD launched in Vietnam the Seeds of Hope project, aims to empower vulnerable youth by providing vocational training in the automotive sectors. The program equips students with technical skills and soft skills to secure quality employment. Supported by key partners like Motul, the project bridges the gap between industry needs and youth employability, fostering sustainable careers in growing industries. The initiative features a modern training garage, experienced trainers, and mentoring to prepare students for long-term professional integration. By addressing skill shortages and offering stable opportunities, Seeds of Hope strengthens Vietnam's workforce and promotes inclusive economic development.

Following the success of the Seeds of Hope project in Vietnam, IECD aims to replicate this initiative in Thailand to empower vulnerable youth with vocational training in the automotive sector.
