Background/IRC Summary:
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises, helping to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing, and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster. Founded in 1933 at the call of Albert Einstein, the IRC is at work in over 40 countries and 26 U.S. cities helping people to survive, reclaim control of their future and strengthen their communities. The IRC has been operating in Thailand since 1975 and currently provides assistance to displaced persons in Tak, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi and Mae Hong Son provinces.
Job Overview/Summary:
The HR Assistant will effectively support Human Resources team in Bangkok on staff visa and work permit, recruitment in term of job post, schedule interview and check process, staff benefit document for health insurance and provident fund and etc. She/he will work collaborate and support HR field offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Visas & Work Permit
- Assist HR team to prepare visa and work permit applications and escort international staff to the Thai Immigration Office for visa extensions and Ministry of Labor for work permit renewal during annual renewal period
- Assist HR team to prepare visa and work permit application requests to Ministry of Interior (MOI) during annual renewal period.
- Assist HR team to prepare necessary documents for Ministry of Labor related to visa and work permit.
Recruitment support & Benefit administration support
- Handle all Job advertisement and inform relevant person on the job advertisement
- Schedule interview, facilitate test and contact candidate
- Assist in conducting check process on candidate and follow up the completion of documents
- Assist recruiter to prepare necessary documents for recruitment process
- Maintain and update all related recruitment files
- Prepare, follow up TISCO Provident Fund application, update information and send it to TISCO Provident Fund Management Company
- Mange health insurance checklist claim tracking and medical card distribution to staff
- Ensure documents are filing completely
Other responsibilities
- Represent IRC positively and professionally in both internal and external relations and situations
- Always keep HR information private and confidential
- Perform other duties as assigned
Deliverable
- Complete set of documents related to annual visa and work permit renewal
- Escort international staff to Thai immigration and Ministry of Labor to assist on visa and work permit renewal application.
- Post job advertisement and assist recruiter to contact candidate, schedule the interview, prepare, and follow up related documents according to recruitment request.
- Complete TISCO provident fund application and distribute related documents to staff.
- Complete health insurances’ check list claim tracking and medical card distribution.
- Complete filing documents on TISCO provident fund and health insurance
Report to: Human Resources Manager
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or related field
Work Experience:
- 1 year’s work experience in Human Resources or Administrative work
- Experience in a non-profit organization and international environment is preferable
Demonstrated skills:
- Excellent Organized skills, deadline oriented, good team player
- Attentive to details
- Positive attitude and excellent service mind
Languages and Computer skills
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken English
- Computer proficient and demonstrate skills in record keeping
Duration: 4 Months
Terms of payment
The wage will be paid after HR Assistant submit timesheet at the end of each month, payment will be made by bank transfer within seven days after submission of timesheet.
