Organisational Background
ECPAT International (ECPAT) is a leading global network of civil society organisations working together to end all manifestations of sexual exploitation of children. It seeks to encourage the world community to ensure that children everywhere enjoy their fundamental rights free and secure from all forms of commercial sexual exploitation.
The ECPAT network currently has 111 member organisations in 97 countries across the world. All of these members are independent organisations or coalitions working to end the sexual exploitation of children (SEC). The ECPAT International Secretariat coordinates the global work of the organisation and is based in Bangkok, Thailand (www.ecpat.org). Job purpose
Under the overall guidance of the Deputy Executive Director/ Operations (DED/O), the Human Resource and Administrative Officer is responsible for
- the implementation of the organization’s human resource policies,
- to liaise with the Thai authorities regarding ECPAT’s organisational registration and expatriate staff positions, and
- to manage, coordinate and implement the organization’s administrative tasks.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Human Resources (60%)
- Implements Human Resource Policies and Procedures and ensures adequate filing, registration and documentation, including the need for management information and reports.
- Coordinates in collaboration with the respective line-mangers the process of recruitment, development of job descriptions, and performance evaluation implementation.
- Follow up on staff contracts, ensure implementation of policies and benefits, and ensures timely adjustments for amendments and policy changes.
- Advises staff on Human Resource policies.
- Prepares the monthly payroll and verifies and/or prepares payment of other staff benefits.
- Advices DED/O and management on HR policies and procedures and suggests for adjustments.
- Ensures the legal requirements with respect to expatriate staff and the organization’s registration in Thailand are fulfilled, acts as liaison officer and develops good relations with relevant Thai authorities.
Administration (40%)
- Supervision of office management (premises, supplies, inventory)
- Oversee travel arrangements and travel filing system for staff, board members and other ECPAT representatives (flights, accommodations)
- Supports ECPAT program staff in events organization
- Preparation of consultancy contracts, oversee filing and completeness of documentation, and follows up on payment requests.
- Coordination of the ICT office arrangements, assess needs and constraints, and liaise with external IT service provider to provide needs as required
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- University degree in human resource, administration, or related area;
- Minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience working in the fields of human resource and administration;
- Experience in working with Thai authorities;
- Fluency in Thai language; excellent communication in English language.

Benefits
- Starting salary from 78,939 THB – 95,933 THB NET per month (positioning in scale depends on years of experiences)
