Recruitment for D-HOPE Project

 

Position:

  1. Program Officer
  2. Program Assistant 

 

Contract Period:

From the middle of October 2019 ~ maximum 1 year

* There is a Three-month trial period.

* Renewal of contract will be decided during the trial period.

 

Payment:

  1. Program Officer

THB 22,000 – 43,200 per month (depending on the qualification and capability)

  1. Program Assistant

THB 20,700 – 29,900 per month (depending on the qualification and capability)

 

Job Description:

Main responsibilities of each position are to support all tasks under the project assigned by JICA experts as follows:

 

  1. Program Officer
  • To interpret JICA experts with project stakeholders English/Thai and Thai/English in meetings, strategic workshops and necessary occasions.
  • To translate relevant documents English/Thai and Thai/English.
  • To assist JICA experts on qualitative and quantitative evaluation activities in Bangkok and different provinces all over Thailand.
  • To assist administrative duties of the project.
  • To support documentation for project implementation.

 

  1. Program Assistant (Administrative Assistant)

-  To assist administrative duties of the project.

-  To support Accounting Officer such as collecting and checking financial documents,

prepare daily payments, creating accounting slips

-  To assist organizing office and assist colleagues in ways that optimize procedures

-  To assist translation relevant documents English/Thai and Thai/English.

-  To interpret JICA experts with project stakeholders English/Thai and Thai/English in

meetings, strategic workshops and necessary occasions.

-  To assist in strategic workshops/seminars/meetings in Bangkok and different

provinces all over Thailand.

-  Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues

 

Requirements:

  1. Program Officer
  • Thai Nationality
  • Proficiency level in English (oral and writing)
  • Professional skills and manner
  • Proficiency level of Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to work on transcription and typing documents efficiently
  • Regular business-trip to the provinces together with JICA Experts (Need physically strength) and work at rural communities
  • Ability to work in a team, professional coordination skill
  • Preferably has background or knowledgeable on community development

 

  1. Program Assistant
  • Thai Nationality
  • Excellent level of English language skills (oral and writing)
  • Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Work experience in accounting or procurement, logistic will be an advantage
  • Basic business skills and manner
  • Regular business-trip to different provinces all over Thailand together with JICA Experts (Need physically strength) and work at rural communities
  • Ability to work in a team, good coordination skill
  • Willingness to study/research community development

 

Qualifications:

  1. Program Officer
  • Master or higher degree
  • Official English test score (minimum TOEIC 830, TOEFL PBT 585, iBT 93)
  • Minimum 3 years working experience
  •  

 

  1. Program Assistant
  • Bachelor’s degree in any academic field
  • Official English test score (minimum TOEIC 730)
  • Minimum 1 year work or other experience

Background of the D-HOPE project:

The ‘Community-based Entrepreneurship Promotion (D-HOPE) Project’ aims at contributing rural communities socially and economically through implementing the Decentralized Hands-on Program Exhibition Approach. The first year of the project focuses on 9 provinces (Chiang mai, Ranong, Trang, Chantaburi, Chonburi, Surin, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan and Lamphun) to implement the D-HOPE approach. As the second year, the D-HOPE approach has been spreading into 28 provinces. For more details of the project activities, please see the following links before you apply.
