INTERNSHIP
Founded in 1922 by 15 human rights groups, FIDH now unites 184 national organizations from 112 countries to collaborate on strategies and activities to promote universal human rights standards. FIDH acts with its member and partner organizations to monitor, document, and alert the international community on human rights violations. FIDH is looking for an intern who will participate in the implementation of the organization’s activities in Thailand. The internship will be based in Bangkok. The intern will be under the supervision of the Director of Asia Desk.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to gain valuable hands-on experience in the human rights field and develop their research and advocacy skills.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and dynamic individual with a passion for human rights and a commitment to promoting the values of FIDH.
He/she is a native Thai speaker with a good command of written and spoken English, good computers skills, and the ability to gather, analyze, and present information in a timely and well-organized manner.
During the internship the successful candidate will participate in the following activities:

Duration: Six months (renewable).
Start date: August, 15, 2019.
