Intern (DMEL-Design, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning) 1 position
Raks Thai Foundation, has been working for disadvantaged population in Thailand since 1997. Project Development Intern will be a member of DMEL team (Design, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning), under Program Quality Department at Raks Thai Foundation. As an affiliated member of CARE International, Raks Thai Foundation adopts CARE toolkit for project management as an important component of our learning platform.
Responsibilities
- Assist DMEL team in developing learning platform to build capacity of program and field staff
- Translate CARE International toolkit from English to Thai
- Assist in organizing training sessions related to project cycle, proposal development, data collection and analysis
- Provide Thai-English interpretation support for team members upon request
- Support with activity tracking and follow-up of reports, data and tasks.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate student or new graduate
- Excellent command of written English and Thai
- Ability to accurately translate documents from English to Thai
- Computer literacy (Microsoft office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills
- Background in Social Work, Public Administration, International Development, English language, Translation Studies preferred
Interest in social issues, development studies, community development
Project Coordination Volunteer 1 positon
Project Coordination Volunteer will be an important member of DMEL team (Design, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning), under Program Quality Department at Raks Thai Foundation. The volunteer will be a key point of contact between DMEL team in Bangkok and field staff across Thailand.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting monitoring, evaluation and learning activities with Raks Thai field staff
- Assist in data collection for monitoring and evaluation including interview, focus group and survey
- Support with activity tracking and follow-up of reports, data and tasks.
- Perform other duties upon request
Qualifications
- Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to work with diverse groups of stakeholder
- Some experience conducting interviews, focus groups or surveys
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn new things
- University degree in any disciplines
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Excellent command of spoken and written Thai
- Good command of spoken English desirable
- Experience working in community development desirable
- Interest in social issues and community development
- Attention to detail
