ความเป็นมาของโครงการ
ด็อกเตอร์ส วิทเอาท์ บอร์เดอร์ส (ประเทศไทย) เป็นองค์กรเอกชนในประเทศไทยที่ดำเนินงานด้านการเสริมสร้างการเข้าถึงบริการสุขภาพจิตในประเทศไทย ซึ่ง ด็อกเตอร์ส วิทเอาท์ บอร์เดอร์ส (ประเทศไทย) ดำเนินงานด้วยความเป็นกลาง และมีลักษณะการทำงานด้านการแพทย์ที่ไม่มีวัตถุประสงค์ทางศาสนา การเมือง หรือสิทธิมนุษยชน
ด็อกเตอร์ส วิทเอาท์ บอร์เดอร์ส (ประเทศไทย) ได้เริ่มดำเนินโครงการเพื่อให้บริการด้านสุขภาพจิตแก่ผู้ที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากเหตุการณ์ความไม่สงบ ที่รวมถึงระบบบริการสุขภาพจิตขั้นพื้นฐานและระบบส่งต่อผู้รับบริการอย่างเหมาะสม โครงการนี้ดำเนินการอยู่ในพื้นที่จังหวัดปัตตานี ทั้งนี้ ด็อกเตอร์ส วิทเอาท์ บอร์เดอร์ส (ประเทศไทย) ดำเนินงานเพื่อเสริมสร้างการเข้าถึงระบบบริการสุขภาพจิตที่มีอยู่ และเสริมสร้างศักยภาพให้แก่คนในพื้นที่ผ่านการฝึกอบรมและการให้บริการด้านสุขภาพจิต โดยจะมุ่งให้ความสำคัญกับกลุ่มผู้หญิงและเด็ก

โครงสร้างการปฏิบัติงาน ปฏิบัติงานภายใต้การดูแลของผู้จัดการกิจกรรมทางด้านสุขภาพจิต
หลักการและเหตุผลของตำแหน่งงาน
ตำแหน่งนี้จะทำหน้าที่บริการให้การปรึกษาด้านจิตวิทยา และทำงานร่วมกันกับทีมสุขภาพจิต รวมถึงผู้ปฏิบัติงานด้านสุขภาพชุมชน นอกจากนี้จะทำหน้าที่ในการติดต่อประสานงานระหว่างโครงการกับสมาชิกในชุมชนและผู้รับบริการ
วัตถุประสงค์หลัก/ความรับผิดชอบหลักของตำแหน่งงาน
- ให้การปรึกษาทางจิตวิทยาและจิตสังคมแก่กลุ่มเป้าหมาย
- ให้การสนับสนุนด้านสุขภาพจิตแก่ผู้ปฏิบัติงานด้านสุขภาพชุมชน
- ประสานงานร่วมกับทีมสุขภาพจิตเพื่อการดำเนินกิจกรรมด้านสุขภาพจิตสังคม (MHPS) ของโครงการ
ความรับผิดชอบและภารกิจที่ได้รับมอบหมาย
- ประเมิณความต้องการบริการหรือความช่วยเหลือด้านสุขภาพจิตแก่ผู้ป่วย พร้อมทั้งวินิจฉัยและจัดทำแผนของการให้บริการ
- ประสานงานร่วมกันกับทีมสุขภาพจิตเพื่อเพิ่มความตระหนักรู้ของความสำคัญของปัญหาสุขภาพจิต โดยการให้ควาสำคัญกับการประเมินอาการและการสังเกตสัญญาณด้านสุขภาพจิต ตลอดจนอภิปราย/พูดคุยถึงเคสซับซ้อน และการส่งต่อผู้ป่วย
- ประเมินความต้องการบริการให้คำปรึกษาด้านจิตวิทยาแบบกลุ่มหรือรายบุคคลผ่านการแปรผลจากสัญญาณและอาการของปัญหาด้านสุขภาพจิต พร้อมทั้งพัฒนาแบบแผนการรักษาให้สอดคล้องกับลักษณะอาการดังกล่าว
- ให้คำปรึกษาทางจิตวิทยาและจิตบำบัดผ่านงานศิลปะ (Art therapy) ทั้งแบบรายบุคคลและแบบรายกลุ่มให้กับกลุ่มผู้มีความต้องการความช่วยเหลือทางด้านสุขภาพจิตในกลุ่มผู้ใหญ่และเด็ก โดยให้การสนับสนุนให้ความรู้ด้านสุขภาพจิตกับประชาชนเมื่อพบเจอเหตุการณ์วิกกฤติต่างๆ และเสริมสร้างทักษะชีวิตให้มีคุณภาพ
- เยี่ยมบ้านผู้รับบริการเพื่อประเมินและติดตามอาการต่างๆ รวมถึงอำนวยความสะดวกอื่นๆ
- ส่งต่อผู้ป่วยให้กับผู้เชี่ยวชาญเฉพาะด้านสุขภาพจิตและอื่นๆ เมื่อเห็นสมควร
- เฝ้าระวังอาการด้านสุขภาพจิตของผู้รับบริการ และรักษาแฟ้มประวัติผู้ป่วยให้เที่ยงตรงและแม่นยำอยู่เสมอ
- ให้ความรู้ทางสุขภาพจิต (จิตศึกษา) หรือกิจกรรมทางจิตวิทยาอื่นๆ ให้กับระดับต่างๆ เช่น โรงเรียน ชุมชน หรือหน่วยงานต่างๆที่เห็นสมควร เป็นต้น
- รวบรวมและติดตามข้อมูลเชิงสถิติที่เกี่ยวข้องกับกระบวนการรักษาและกิจกรรมให้การปรึกษาตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย
- แจ้งหัวหน้างานและทีมงานด้านสุขภาพจิตเกี่ยวกับปัญหาการให้บริการ เพื่อร่วมกันหาแนวทางแก้ไขที่ดีที่สุดโดยใช้กรอบการดำเนินงานทางด้านการแพทย์
- บันทึกรายงานการทำงานให้กับหัวหน้างานอย่างต่อเนื่อง
- เข้าร่วมการประชุมเจ้าหน้าที่รายสัปดาห์ และเข้ารับคำแนะนำ/ปรึกษาหัวหน้างานอย่างต่อเนื่อง
- เคารพและให้เกียรติประชาชน ผู้รับบริการ เพื่อนร่วมงาน ผู้เชี่ยวชาญอื่นๆ และเจ้าหน้าที่อื่นๆ อยู่เสมอ
- ดำเนินงานอื่นๆ ตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร
การศึกษา ปริญญาตรีด้านจิตวิทยาคลินิกและจิตวิทยาสาขาอื่นๆ หากมีประสบการณ์และมีใบประกอบโรคศิลปะจะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ
ภาษา สามารถใช้ภาษาไทยและภาษามลายูได้ดีทั้งการเขียน การอ่านและการพูด หากมีความสามารถด้านภาษาอังกฤษจะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ
ประสบการณ์ มีประสบการณ์ด้านการวินิจฉัยทางคลินิกและการให้การปรึกษาทางจิตวิทยา

BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT
Doctors without Borders Thailand (DWBT) is a Thai company working to increase access to mental health in Thailand. DWBT is neutral, impartial and is solely medical in nature with no religious, political or human rights objectives.
DWBT has started a project to primarily provide mental health services for people affected by the unrest, including basic mental health and physiotherapy services and an appropriate system of referral where needed. The project is based in Pattani. DWBT is working to strengthen the existing mental health system and to build local capacity through trainings and the provision of mental health services primarily focusing on women and children affected by the unrest.
DWBT is a non-political, non-religious medical organisation and does not discriminate based on religion, race, political affiliation or sex.
TERMS OF REFERENCES
Location: One position based in Narathiwat
Organogram: Hierarchically and Funtionally under Mental Health Activity Manager
Main objectives/responsibilities of the position
-Perform the mental health and psychosocial support (MHPS) consultations with target groups, in order to improve patient’s mental health
-Provide mental health support and psycho education activities within the targeted community
-Coordinate with the MH team towards quality implementation of MHPS activities in the project
Responsibilities and tasks
-Carrying out evaluation of mental health needs of patients and establishing a diagnosis and a plan of treatment.
-Coordination with mental health (MH) team to improve detection of mental health symptoms and signs, especially, assessment of mental health symptoms and signs including discussion of difficult cases, referrals etc
-Provide individual and group assessment sessions through detecting MH signs and symptoms and develop treatment plan in accordance with the symptoms presented.
-Provide individual and/or group psychological counselling and psychotherapy sessions for population at risk (adults and children): support coping process of the population and mobilize their inner resources for processing traumatic experiences and finding new life perspective
-Visit beneficiaries at home in order to assess needs and follow up evolution when required
-Coordinate with the mental health team regarding the evolution of patients, and refer patients to other health (internal and externals) professionals whenever is necessary.
-Provide regular-follows and maintain accurate filling of clinical files.
-Provide psycho-education and other psychosocial activities/ trainings to the population, schools, community health workers, counsellors, and organizations when required.
-Collect statistical and monitoring data about sessions and counselling activities on weekly basis
-Inform the supervisor and team about any issues or problems that may arise related to patients’ treatment in order to provide the best possible solution from a medical perspective
-Make regular reports of work to the supervisor
-Participate in weekly staff meetings and regular supervision sessions
-Maintain at all times a respectful attitude towards population, patients, colleagues and other Professionals and staff
-Other works assigned by supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
Education: University degree in psychology, with clinical psychology and related issues. Preference will be given to licenced clinical psychologists
Languages: Fluency in Thai and Malay for speaking, reading and writing, English is an added advantage
Experience: Experience in clinical practice and working with people affected by unrest
Skills:
- Essential computer literacy (word, excel, internet)
- Initiative, flexibility, creativity and analysis capacity
- Essential knowledge of different therapeutic techniques
- Interest in helping vulnerable people
- Motivation in developing capacity and awareness in mental health
