Terms of Reference: Facilitator of USAID Thailand Counter Trafficking in Persons Grantee Training Workshop

Background of the project
The USAID Thailand Counter Trafficking in Persons (USAID Thailand CTIP) initiative (2017-2022) aims to reduce TIP and better protect the rights of trafficked persons in Thailand by reducing demand and incentives for using trafficked labor, empowering at-risk populations to safeguard their rights, and strengthening protection systems for survivors.
The project is implemented by Winrock International and its four implementing partner organizations – BBC Media Action, Liberty Shared, Resonance, and World Vision. In addition, USAID Thailand CTIP will partner with local organizations to scale promising practices and promote holistic, needs-based, gender- culturally-sensitive services for at-risk groups and survivors, and to change Thai public attitudes of at-risk populations.
Objectives and expectations of partners meetings
The Grantee Training Workshop is being organized on 14-18 December 2018 in Bangkok. This internal meeting will provide an opportunity for partners of USAID Thailand CTIP to get to know one another, receive induction into the program and receive technical training. There is expected to be a total of 30 participants from Winrock, implementing partners, and grantees, attending the meeting for 4 days.
The USAID Thailand CTIP is seeking a facilitator for the workshop. Winrock USAID Thailand CTIP team will draft the agenda for the meeting and the consultant taking on this task will facilitate. The consultant should be experienced in facilitating of non-profit sector organized events; must be confident, persuasive, and able to communicate very well in English; preferably have experience in social issues such as trafficking, migration, and monitoring and evaluation.
The consultant to take on this task is expected to be in Bangkok for the preparation and facilitation. Pre-workshop consultations with the organizer (Winrock International) will be conducted in person.
