Job position: GIS Specialist.
Position Type: Local Full Time Contract
Location: Nonthaburi, Thailand
Reports to: Conservation Program Manager, Thailand Program
Job Summary:
The GIS specialist will work under the supervision of the Country Director and in close supervision of Conservation Program Manager. This position will be based in Nonthaburi, Thailand. S/he is responsible for completing GIS mapping and graph requests, using GIS software and related requirement. S/he will assist in improving the efficiency of Smart Patrol system and SMART program for WCS-TP and other project sites as request (both territorial and marine). S/he will support colleagues on GIS data and database of WCS-TP also support GIS/RS data and database designs all of WCS Thailand Projects. S/he will assist in coordination of Training program between WCS and other agencies as well as support colleague in training for students to improve capacity on using up-to-date technologies in wildlife management.
