MAP Foundation has a vacancy for a Field Coordinator in its
Community Health and Empowerment (CHE) Program
MAP Foundation is a registered Thai NGO which has been working with migrant workers from Burma for the last twenty years. Together with migrant communities, MAP works on issues of labour rights, access to education, the right to health, and women’s rights.
MAP Foundation’s Community Health and Empowerment (CHE) program needs a new Field coordinator. The position is based in Chiang Mai. MAP’s Community Health and Empowerment Program aims to improve migrants’ access to health promotion, including prevention and care, through community mobilization, education, advocacy and referrals including HIV and TB.
The position is under the STAR (Stop TB& Aids through RTTR) project, which is supported by the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. MAP Foundation is a Sub-recipient under the migrant component of the STAR Project, which is overseen by Raks Thai Foundation as the Principal Recipient. The STAR Project is planned to end December 2017.
The Field Coordinator is a member of MAP Foundation. The Field Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Programme Coordinator in overseeing the functioning of all projects under the Community Health and Empowerment (CHE) Program, which has a team of around 10 staff and volunteers. The Field Coordinator reports directly to the CHE Programme Coordinator.
Base salary starts at 12,500, but previous experience will be considered in negotiating salary scale.
