Position:  Program Unit (PU) Finance officer

Assignment duration: One year contract with likely extension

Duty station: Chiang Rai

JOB BACKGROUND: The PU Finance officer is responsible for operating accounting and Finance processes within PU based office and related in accordance with Plan’s corporate policies, procedures and Thai laws and ensure accuracy and timely submission of transactions to ensure smooth finance operation in the unit.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Daily execution on bookkeeping, vouchering, treasury and taxation. Ensure completeness and accuracy of voucher packages to be complied with Plan policies and procedures. Also playing support roles on financial management at the PU level. Support PU Accountant and Finance manager for period closing and audit.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, or business administration; minimum 1 year experience in accounting field work; preferably with NGOs; Leadership skills; Teamwork; Good English skills; experience with SAP an added advantage.
