ROLE: Finance and Administration Officer

LOCATION: 1/5-1/6, Soi Ari 2, Phaholyothin Road, Samsen Nai, Phayathai, Bangkok, 10400, Thailand

START DATE: 21 November 2016 (preferably earlier)

JOB DESCRIPTION:


JUMP! Foundation is currently seeking a full-time Finance and Administration Officer to join the organisation. They will work closely with JUMP!’s Senior Finance Manager and Operations Team to support strategic and financial decision-making by ensuring the bookkeeping is up to date, and collecting, analyzing, and reporting on financial information. He/she will also manage the day-to-day office administration and support the team with other operational matters.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


Finance and accounting tasks, including but not limited to:
• Updating and maintaining accurate bookkeeping spreadsheets, and ensuring the information is processed correctly in JUMP!’s online accounting system (Xero)
• Preparing contracts for program delievery, and invoicing and payment tracking of all program finances
• Ensuring accounts receivable are collected and recorded in the books, and accounts payables are paid and recorded in the books
• Reviewing and processing staff reimbursements in line with JUMP!’s expense policies
• Assisting with preparation of monthly payroll and reimbursements
• Preparing program performance reports including analysis of budget versus actual results
• Assisting with the organisational budgeting process
• Collecting and entering data for various financial spreadsheets
• Filing bank statements, invoices and expense sheets
• Administration of petty cash

Administrative tasks , including but not limited to:
• General office administration:
• Purchasing supplies and equipment as authorized by management
• Printing business cards and other materials
• Monitoring office supply levels and reordering as necessary
• Paying utility bills, office rent, and supplier invoices
• Supporting application process for staff work permits and visas
• Other ad-hoc administrative and operational tasks as directed by the Senior Management Team.

REQUIRED QUALITIES:
• Possess a minimum of three years of work experience, preferably in a bookkeeping, finance assistant or administrative role
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or accounting or another related field, as well as a knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles
• Attentive to detail, organized, and able to prioritize workload
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
• Energetic team-player with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills, and motivated to learn how to use new IT platforms
• Thai Citizenship
• Proficiency in English (both oral and written)

PREFERRED QUALITIES:
• Working knowledge of Xero accounting software package.
• Previous experience working in a multi-cultural organization in Thailand
• Possess understanding of non-profits and/or social enterprises

Senior Finance Manager


COMPENSATION:
Salary & Compensation will be commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience.
