JOB ANNOUNCEMENT – Administrative and Human Resources Officer
People Serving People Foundation (PSPF) is a young and vibrant Thai foundation based in Bangkok, Thailand. We work in partnership with a broad range of Thai and ASEAN civil society organizations, international NGOs, UN agencies, foreign governments, and civil society activists on human rights issues in the region. Through partnerships with Boat People SOS (BPSOS), Coalition to Abolish Modern-Day Slavery in Asia (CAMSA) and Peoples’ Empowerment Foundation (PEF), we also work with victims of human rights abuses, including victims of religious and other forms of persecution.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a qualified Thai national to join our team and oversee administrative and human resources duties. The individual will be responsible for the following tasks:
Manage internal accounting and reporting to donors and funders;
Develop and manage digital filing system for human resources;
Secure volunteer visas and work permits for international/ASEAN staff;
Handle banking, bill payment, and liaise with Thai service providers;
Provide Thai language support for international volunteers;
Develop office procedures, protocols, institutional memory;
Prepare documentation for local reporting requirements with Thai government; and
Assist team members on various projects (up to 20% of time).
Qualifications & Requirements: (This position is open to Thai Nationals only)
A first degree in any discipline; human resources or communications degree a plus;
Experience in accounting and/or human resources, or in civil society work;
Fluency in Thai and English;
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills;
Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel;
Ability to work independently in an international, multi-cultural environment; and
Reliable, organized, with an ability to multi-task.
Compensation:
The Administrative and Human Resources Officer will be paid a locally competitive nonprofit salary consistent with the applicant’s experience and ability. Benefits include a health insurance stipend and 23 days paid personal leave.
