ADRA Thailand is currently seeking applicants for the position of Senior Project Accountant (Urgently) to work at our office in Chiang Mai province.
Responsibilities:
Review monthly receipts from the projects and record all of the income and expense in to the accounting software with the correct chart of account.
Conduct monthly bank and account receivable reconciliations.
Review all receipts and ensure that all expenses and details on receipts are in line with ADRA Thailand Finance and Procurement policies.
Posting to accounting software and generate internal Finance report.
Responsible of preparing and reviewing donors financial report and submit to donors on time.
Responsible of communication or coordination with auditors to conduct the audit according to donor’s requirement.
Ensure that all support documents and receipts are attached to payment vouchers.
Monitor and analyze monthly actual spending against the approved budget.
Assist in preparing budgets and other financial documents as requested.
Follow up with the project team to have accurate assets register for projects.
Monthly review the funds request from projects if is according to the budget plan or not.
Conduct regular training to staff and monitoring visit to the field office.
Monthly transfer funds to projects
Perform other tasks as required by supervisor.
Preferred candidates are expected to meet the following:
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in accounting or related field.
Experience:
At least 4 years experience in positions equal to the position responsibilities outlined above.
Experiences with EU, UNHCR funded project will be a plus
Language Skills:
Intermediate English verbal and written language skills. Able to communicate with donors and partners.
Intermediate Thai verbal and written language skills.
Skills and Abilities:
Good typing skills in both English and Thai.
Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision.
Strong cross-cultural communication skills.
Proficient in PC use, Windows applications, email and internet. Ability to accurately review and analyze financial and statistical reports in excel format essential.
