an International NGO announces for its Myanmar programme the position of a
Programme Manager
The position includes the following tasks:
• Implement programmes with partner organizations, such as Ministries, Parliaments and Civil Society Organisations
• Conceptualize and monitor programmes on Market Economy and Democracy
• Liaise with government officials and ministries
• Moderate workshops and seminars
• Draft texts and analytical reports
• Draft liberal solutions for concrete problem areas of programmes
Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree, preferably in economics;
• Understanding of international and development policies;
• Minimum three years of working experience;
• Fluency in Myanmar and English language (speaking, writing, editing); proficiency in German is an asset;
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
• Willingness to work in a team;
• Excellent skills in standard software programmes;
• Proficiency in new social media usage and communication;
• Willingness to conduct business travels in the country and abroad.
