Financial Chief- Urgently

The Foundation of Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD Foundation) is an International non-government and non-profit organization collaborating with the United Nations and International NGOs established with the endowment from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn when Thailand was awarded the Franklin Delano Roosvelt International Disability Award.
APCD Foundation’s mission is to empower persons with disabilities as agents of change and to promote an inclusive, barrier-free and rights based society for all.
We are looking for the Financial Chief who is proactive and dedicated individual to be a part of our office as follow.
Financial Chief
Role & responsibilities
• Responsible for overall financial and accounting functions for all tasks assigned.
• Ensuring financial and accounting operations comply with procedures and internal controls.
• Ensuring that financial and accounting records are properly maintained, accuracy and that all reconciled items are identified and documented.
• Coordinate and work with the Financial Officer/Accounting Officer for finance/accounting matters.
• Prepare regular financial reports for the Foundation and projects when requested.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting.
• Having at least 5 years of work experience on financial management and accounting.
• Having Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is a must.
• Experienced in month-end closing process, taxation and accounting system.
• Knowledge on accounting standards and tax regulations would be advantage.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Computer proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Mature personality with good Thai and international communication skills.
• Service minded and positive attitude to and for persons with disabilities.

Working Condition:
• Start from 1 March 2016 (commencement date to be negotiable)
• Full time working contract.
• Work under supervision of General Manager.
