-Urgently Required- Project Coordinator – HIV/AIDS Roles: This position is responsible for assisting Project Manager of the “ Empowering civil society to engage for social inclusion of people living with HIV(PLHIV)” project to manage and facilitate the plan, implementation, monitoring ‘and assessment the project as assignment with partners/communities/ relevant GOs and NGOs , based on the principles of Child-Centred Community Development (CCCD) to meet aims, objectives and expectations of the projects as outlined in the project proposal and in accordance with Plan policies and procedures and also any assignments by Project Manager.
Responsibilities Planning Assist Project Manager for Project Management Team Action/ Activity plan to be aligned with Country Strategic Plan (CSP) and all Plan’s policies
Management Facilitate & coordinate with the Project Manager for project managements / evaluation planning/monitoring/ and reporting Through CCCD concept and work cycle process, implement activities as per operational and action plans through involvement of all stakeholders in accordance with outlined project proposal. Collaborate and coordinate with communities /partners/ counterpart agencies to ensure effective implementation of project activities including service delivery. This will entail organizing formal and informal meetings with all counterpart agencies. Facilitate and coordinate the training, awareness raising, and capacity building to children, communities and concern parties on Child Rights/ Child Protection (CR/CP) Revise and review progress towards stated activities and outputs mentioned in the project work plan and a detailed implementation plan and financial situations
Assist to prepare progress and financial reports of project Involve facilitating a monthly and quarterly management meeting and planning Maintain records and monitor for efficient systems Provide supports to all concerned parties as requirements Engage in advocacy with government sector and civil society stakeholders at all levels Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Social Sciences, Human rights, Nursing or any related fields. Minimum 2-year experience in management of Child Right promotion, HIV/AIDS or other social development projects At least 3 or 5-year experience working in HIV/AIDS field. Few experiences in working for a multi-cultural organization will be an advantage Proven knowledge and awareness of Child Rights Conventions and Thai Child Protection Act 2003 Oral and written English language skills is advantage. Computer : word, excel, power point, internet Able to travel /stay/in the provinces where Plan is implementing the project
