NRC Myanmar is seeking a qualified and motivated national candidate for the position of Information Management Coordinator (Consortium), to be based in Yangon, Myanmar, or Bangkok, Thailand.
The purpose of this position is to design, strengthen, and manage information management systems, tools, and processes, ensuring that timely, accurate, and protection-sensitive data is available to support decision-making, coordination with external stakeholders, and accountability to donors and affected populations.
The Information Management Coordinator will report directly to the Information Management Specialist.
Please note that this position is open to Myanmar nationals and Thai nationals only.

Role and responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain information management systems, tools, standard operating procedures and workflows, in line with IM standards.
- Design and manage data collection tools, databases and trackers, ensuring harmonized indicators, formats and reporting flows.
- Ensure data quality through systematic cleaning, validation, consolidation, and analysis.
- Ensure responsible data management, including compliance with data protection policies, donor requirements and inter-agency data sharing protocols, applying protection- and conflict-sensitive approaches.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, maps, infographics, factsheets and other information products for internal and external audiences.
- Represent in relevant coordination forums and technical working groups and manage data sharing with external stakeholders.
- Build IM capacity through training, coaching, and the development of guidance materials.
- Support monitoring, evaluation and donor reporting with data analysis and evidence of products, in collaboration with M&E colleagues.
- Comply and adhere to policies, guidance and procedures, with specific responsibility for IM-related policies and procedures.
Specific responsibilities
- Develop and manage data pipelines to external actors, defining what is shared, in which format, at what frequency, and under which data sharing agreements.
- Prepare data systems for linkage to inter-agency systems, ensuring data structures remain compatible with the system options under consideration.
- Review and enhance the current IM workflow – from data collection through consolidation, analysis and reporting – based on experience and learning to date, documenting revised SOPs.
- Develop interactive dashboards (e.g. Power BI) and other visualization materials to track response coverage, timeliness, and gaps.
- Design and deliver a capacity-building plan on data collection, database management, analysis, visualization and responsible data management, to ensure sustainability of IM functions after the deployment.
- Support reporting requirements.
- Perform any other tasks as delegated by the line manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in information management, data management or a related field within a humanitarian or development context.
- University degree in information management, data science, statistics, computer science, or another relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Advanced skills in Excel and in business intelligence/visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Proven experience with mobile data collection platforms (KoBo Toolbox, ODK or similar) and database design and management.
- Working knowledge of Python or R for data processing, analysis and automation of data workflows.
- Solid understanding of responsible data management, data protection principles and data sharing protocols in humanitarian settings.
- Documented results in developing IM tools, dashboards and information products, and in building the capacity of staff or partners.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
