Position Title:   Program Coordinator

Organization:   The Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Center (TRCARC)

Scope of work:

          This full-time senior position will be in Prevention Department of TRCARC to manage programs and researches related to sexual health of key populations. This position will take a lead on programs and researches implementation and provide technical and programmatic guidance to the team members and implementing partners.          

Key Duties and Responsibilities

          Lead, manage, and monitor programs and researches related to sexual health as assigned, in collaboration with other relevant team members

          Provide remote/on-site programmatic coordination and support to community-based organizations, governmental officials, hospital staff and other development partners

          Liaise with research partners to ensure smooth research implementation and collaboration among multiple stakeholders

          Support coordinated program actions in response to the available research data

          Identify key development areas of community partners in implementing research/project implementation and facilitate technical assistance

          Develop quarterly and semi/annual progress reports related to programs and researches as assigned

          In collaboration with finance and grants team members, assist with developing proposals and provide programmatic and technical inputs as assigned.

          Represent the Prevention Department to advocate for the health related agenda derived from the program or research implementation at local and national level.

Primary Qualifications

          Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Administration, Health Science, Social Medical Science, Psychology, Nursing, Public Administration or related field

          At least 5 years of experience in coordination or management role.

          Effective skills on project management or research implementation

          Good knowledge of sexual health related issues.

          Good coordination skills on stakeholders from diverse backgrounds

Proficiency in computer literacy

          Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Thai

          Experience in non-profit organization or research institute on health-related program or research for people with sexual diversity or people living with HIV is an advantage

          Work independently with minimal direct day-to-day supervision
