ADRA Thailand is currently seeking a position for 1 positions of Life Skills Training Officers as details below;
Life Skills Training Officer – to be based in Mae sot Office, Tak province
Key Responsibilities:
The Life Skills training Officer is an area team member and supports the leads the management of the Life Skills training activities.
Through his/her specialization the Life Skills Training Officer is able to provide TOT training for camp-based trainers in refugee camps.
The Life Skills Training Officer collaborates effectively with the vocational training team and developed together the Life Skill training schedule.
Conduct regular monitoring to assess the training progress and highlight the areas that require improvement and develop appropriate approaches for improvement.
Produce reports that demonstrate the development of the training and collaborate with the M&E unit.
Support the curriculum development unit to prepare updates of the learning materials for the camp-based trainers.
Provide input to the Life Skills curriculum, and where relevant adjust the curriculum to suit the needs of the beneficiary context.
As part of the area team you coordinate the recruitment of camp-based life skills trainers
Preferred candidates are expected to fulfil the following:
Completed High School or Post Ten
Fluent in Karen language, Burmese is an advantage
Teaching and Training experience
Basic knowledge of English
Basic computer skills
Minimum age of 25 years
Confident to travel to remote areas
Positive working attitudes and motivated to cooperate with disadvantaged people
Being a team player
