URGENTLY REQUIRED
Project Manager – Education and Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD)
Purpose :
To lead country strategic planning in Education and Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) and monitor/ assess the implementations with the involvement of related Plan staff, children, and community. Technically support related staff/partners for success on Education and ECCD implementation through Child Centered Community Development (CCCD) process. Child Rights is the core basis to achieve. The achievement of the project’s objectives is the ultimate goal of this position. The position will handle coordination with the country office, project implementing partners and target communities in the responsible areas. S/he will also oversee the program intervention ensure the effective an efficient program quality deliveries
Responsibilities:
Lead , manage, and also initiates / facilitates the process of partners selection and recruitment for the project implementation
Ensure that the implementation of Plan Thailand of Education and ECCD strategic plan through CCCD approach and in accordance to the resource mobilization strategy
Works with the selected partners to train/technical advise/facilitate them the project framework, work procedure, standard, polices, and other related conditions in order to build capacity, deliver the efficient/effective result, and achieve the goal
Technical supports and guidance for Plan Thailand on of Education and ECCD programmes and projects.
Management of portfolio of programmes and activities: programme cycle management, staff management and financial management.
Engagement in policy dialogue and advocacy with government sectors and civil society stakeholders at all levels
Monitor and evaluation the effectiveness of Plan’s curriculum and projects including partner performance for project development and take part in the preparation of progress reports, mid-term and final evaluation as well as the financial report in coordination with the concerned staff of both within Plan and the partners.
Communicate with program team and resource mobilization team effectively; respond donor’s query, coordinate their field visit and monitor the project to be implemented with quality during and after the project implementation
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master degree in Education, Public health, or any related field
Minimum 2-5 years experiences in community development; working with NGO on education development and at least 3 years at management level
Few years of experiences in participatory training, research on education or ECCD related issues, managing whole process of large projects in Education & ECCD programming
Academic knowledge of Education and ECCD and understanding of Thailand’s policy and practice of Education and ECCD
Good written and oral communication skills in Thai and English
