URGENTLY REQUIRED
Project Coordinator – Empowering Civil Society to Engage for Social Inclusion of People Living with HIV(PLHIV) Project
based in Chiangmai
Assist Project Manager of the above mentioned project to manage and facilitate the plan, implementation, monitoring, and assessment the project as assignment with partners/communities/relevant INGOs and NGOs, based on the principles of Child-Centered Community Development (CCCD) to meet aims, objectives, and expectations of the as outlined in the project proposal and in accordance with Plan policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Planning
Assist Project Manager for Project Management Plan
Action/Activity plan to be aligned with Country Strategic Plan (CSP) and all Plan’s policies
Management/Operation
Facilitate & coordinate with the Project Manager for projects management / evaluation planning/monitoring/and reporting
Through Child Centered Community Development concept and work cycle process, implement activities as per operational and action plans though involvement of all stakeholders in accordance with outlined project proposal.
Collaborate and coordinate with communities/partners/counterpart agencies to ensure effective implementation of project activities including service delivery. This will entail organizing formal and informal meetings with all counterpart agencies.
Facilitate and coordinate the training , awareness raising, and capacity building to children, communities and concern parties on CR/CP
Revise and review both progress towards stated activities and output mentioned in the project work plan and a detailed implementation plan and financial situations
Assist to prepare progress and financial reports of project.
Involve facilitating a monthly and quarterly management meeting and planning
Maintains records and monitoring for efficient systems
Provide supports to all concerned parties as requirements
Engage in advocacy with government sector and civil society stakeholders at all levels
Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Social Science, Human’s rights, Nursing, or related fields
Minimum 2 year experience in management of Child Right promotion, HIV/AIDS or other social development Projects
At least three to five year experience working in HIV/AIDS field.
Experience in working for a multi -cultural organization will be advantage
Proven knowledge and awareness of Child Rights Conventions and Thai Child Protection Act 2003
Oral and written English language skills is advantage
Computer : word, excel, power point, internet
Able to travel /stay in the provinces where Plan is implementing the project

Plan has a Child Protection Policy. The applicant should be willing to allow Plan to conduct a police check once he or she is considered for the position.
