Job Title: Communications Coordinator for Illegal Wildlife Trade Team
WWF-Thailand is looking for passionate, professional, and inspiring individuals to join our team.
Background
The World Wide Fund for Nature (formerly World Wildlife Fund - WWF) aims to conserve nature and ecological processes by preserving biodiversity, ensuring sustainable use of natural resources, and promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful use of resources and energy. WWF works in more than 100 countries around the world. WWF has been working in Thailand since 1983 and WWF-Thailand was founded in 1995.
Thailand is a critical area in the global illegal wildlife trade (IWT). It is a source, transit and destination country for a number of the most threatened and lucratively traded wildlife species including tiger, Asian and African elephant, rhino, bears, and pangolins. Eliminating IWT is a priority of WWF-Thailand.
In support of this priority, WWF-Thailand works with government, business, civil society, and individuals to achieve our global goals for the benefit of the people of Thailand and the world.
With a growing IWT team in a biodiversity-rich country, WWF-Thailand is looking for a professional team player who upholds WWF’s core values of Courage, Integrity, Respect, and Collaboration.

S/he will be tasked with partnership development with the public and private sector, particularly actors in the travel and tourism sector, as well as other conservation partners working on IWT campaigns. Co-developing campaigns with experts in the area, tracking campaign analytics and maintaining digital media archives will be key components of the job. S/he will also be tasked to write articles, press releases and success stories - both in English and Thai - in close collaboration with the Communications Team.
