The ICRC Regional Delegation in Bangkok seeks to fill the following position:

Supply Chain Officer, based in Bangkok

We are looking for a spirited team player with a can-do attitude to join our dynamic team.

The Supply Chain Officer executes order fulfilment activities in accordance with service level agreements. S/he ensures that all customers’ needs are understood, met, delivered & well communicated.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Processes & fulfils clients'(s) orders according to the ICRC’s logistics and financial procedures, and pre - established Fulfilment Guidelines.
• Ensures that the supply chain priorities are set and are followed.
• Keeps those requesting services regularly informed about progress on their requests.
• Records and files documents pertaining to the ordering process; registers and transmits claims and remarks from those requesting services.
• Update logistics dashboards and provides statistics.
• Contributes to supply-chain support for an assigned geographical area or specific group of products.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, freight forwarding or equivalent field
• 3 - 5 years previous experience in administration or within a supply-chain or logistics department.
• Capacity to carry out complex activities
• Ability to work independently and sense of initiative
• Strong sense of responsibility and adaptability
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Computer literacy
