The ICRC Regional Delegation in Bangkok seeks to fill the following position:
Supply Chain Officer, based in Bangkok
We are looking for a spirited team player with a can-do attitude to join our dynamic team.
The Supply Chain Officer executes order fulfilment activities in accordance with service level agreements. S/he ensures that all customers’ needs are understood, met, delivered & well communicated.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processes & fulfils clients'(s) orders according to the ICRC’s logistics and financial procedures, and pre - established Fulfilment Guidelines.
- Ensures that the supply chain priorities are set and are followed.
- Keeps those requesting services regularly informed about progress on their requests.
- Records and files documents pertaining to the ordering process; registers and transmits claims and remarks from those requesting services.
- Update logistics dashboards and provides statistics.
- Contributes to supply-chain support for an assigned geographical area or specific group of products.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, freight forwarding or equivalent field
- 3 - 5 years previous experience in administration or within a supply-chain or logistics department.
- Capacity to carry out complex activities
- Ability to work independently and sense of initiative
- Strong sense of responsibility and adaptability
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Computer literacy
