Good Neighbors is an international humanitarian development NGO founded in Korea in 1991 working in 250 projects, 47 countries, and Good Neighbors (Thailand) Foundation is one of Good Neighbors where the office is located in Bangkok, Thailand.

Good Neighbors (Thailand) Foundation has been supporting education project in Chiang Rai, with cooperation from Office of Basic Education Commission (OBEC) since October 2016, to provide better education opportunities for ethnic minorities and stateless students in the highland’s region.

Good Neighbors (Thailand) Foundation is announcing an advertisement for a vacant position for “Senior Officer” to support education project in Chiang Rai and to extend the project area in Thailand.

1. Job Title: Senior Officer

2. Contract Period: Full time contract for 1 year (include 3-month probation)

3. Location: Bangkok Business Center, Sukhumvit 63 Road

4. Key Responsibilities:

1. Project operation management

- Assist Project Manager to implement, monitor and facilitate project implementation with multiple stakeholders

- Communicate with stakeholders from diverse background with well-behaved and professional manner

- Communicate with partnership to operate project

- Prepare project report eg. interim report, final report 

- Draft letter, minutes of meeting

- Travel to project site(s) for monitoring project progress and producing targeted quality outputs

2. Human resources

- Responsible for job announcement and Cv(s) pre-screen

- Support recruitment process

- Filling staff document

- Prepare contract renewal

- Update staff status

- Supervise staff on the visa and work permit renewal

3. Social media management (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)

           - Sharing and prepare project contents for staff

           - Working with E-learning staff on the SNS plan

           - Supervise staff on posting contents

5. Salary: Baht 35,000- 40,000

6. Work experiences:

- Minimum 5 years working experiences in INGO/Foundation sector

- Experience in project coordination with both Thai and international stakeholders

- Ability to draft letter, minutes of meeting, and project document in both Thai and English

- Ability to work as a team member who has positive attitude, enthusiastic energy, and innovative but practical ideas.

7.  Qualifications:

- Thai nationality

- Bachelor’s degree related international development, social sciences, development studies, development economics, rural development and any other related field

- Strong computer skills

– MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

- Full professional fluency in spoken and written Thai and English

- Work with respect with persons from varied backgrounds across international teams

8.  Working Conditions:

- Working days: Monday – Friday (5 days)

- Working hours: 08:30 – 17:00 (7.5 hrs / day)
