1. About ISC

The Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) is an international non-governmental agency working to unleash the power of people to transform their communities in the face of climate change. ISC’s mission is to help communities, cities, and industries worldwide address environmental, economic, and social challenges to build a better future shaped and shared by all.

2. Background

Aiming to improve the health, livelihoods, and well-being of vulnerable populations, foster sustainable economic growth, and achieve greater development in the Mekong region, the Mekong Sustainable Manufacturing Alliance (The Alliance), a 3-year USAID-funded project led by ISC, drives private-sector adoption of improved environmental and social safeguards by factories in the food processing, and textiles sectors. To this end, the project focuses primarily on country-specific and region-wide activities to unlock private enterprise-led growth and improve the management of natural resources in Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

ISC plans to create robust communications and meaningful engagement with multi-stakeholders. For this mission, ISC wishes to engage an organization or individual consultant to design and produce digital and print communication materials in support of the project’s goals and objectives.

3. Scope of Work

ISC is seeking an organization or individual consultant to design and produce project communications materials to support project activities online and offline. As part of the service, the organization or individual consultant will specifically:

• Create a branding guideline comprising a set of color palettes and custom illustrations that clearly represent the project’s identity and are aligned with existing relevant branding guidelines and principles of ISC, its donor, and implementing partners.

• Design communications materials for the Mekong Sustainable Manufacturing Alliance (The Alliance) project using custom illustrations created. The communications materials under this proposal request are included but not limited to:

  • PowerPoint Presentation Template

  • Event Standing Rollup Artwork

  • Event Backdrop Artwork

  • Event Poster Artwork

• Produce communications materials with acceptable production quality and standard

4. Qualifications

The organization or individual consultant must have:

• Demonstrated at least 5 years of experiences in the relevant field

• Excellent creative, communications, and organizational skills.

• Attention to detail and time management skills.

• Experience working with INGOs or NGOs will be an added advantage.

5. Submission Requirements

Interested organizations or consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services, along with cost information, by submitting a proposal via email to msma@sustain.org, with RFP – Communications Materials Design and Production in the subject line by May 31, 2022. Submissions should include the following information (max total of 5 pages).

• Name and contact details

• Description of qualifications

• Portfolio and example of design works on the relevant scope

• Cost information: The consultant should submit a detailed cost proposal in THB.
