School Principal Wanted:

Monthly salary is 35,000 - 45,000 Baht depending on qualification and negotiable plus free housing and 2 meals a day during school days.

Wonder Valley is seeking a partner to guide our small school. The person will assume a leadership role as a principal and will work closely with the school board and it's small number of teachers. He/she is expected to actively participate in curriculum development as well as to teach certain classes. Job responsibilities would also include day to day management of class activities, monitoring of children growth and development, and the continuous process of school development.

Applicant shall possess a university degree, preferably but not necessarily, in education. He/she should be familiar with inquiry-based and project-based learning. Some knowledge of the Ontario curriculum and experience in education would be a plus. He/she should be a highly effective communicator and public speaker and be as fluent in English, both in writing and speaking, as a native speaker. He/she is also expected to be comfortable and adept at using IT tools and the Internet.

Wonder Valley is an alternative education provider for small children with a focus on early childhood and elementary education. We strive to be a different kind of learning community where children can enjoy learning without fear and seek to engage children in a stimulating and challenging learning experience. We believe that children should be happy while learning and growing intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. Wonder Valley has just started it's operation in August 2020 with just 14 students and is still under development. We are located in a vast valley of a southern province of Songkhla and is approximately 30 km. from the city of Hat Yai.
