Country Project Manager, Bangkok, Thailand
Effective with the release of this position announcement, Winrock International will be recruiting Thai national applicants for the position of Country Project Manager for a child labor and forced labor multi-country project, ATLAS. The responsibilities, duties, and qualifications are described in the attached position description.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Country Project Manager, Thailand
LOCATION: Bangkok, Thailand
GROUP: Civil Society & Education
REPORTS TO: Project Director, ATLAS
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Country Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the country-level activities of the Attaining Lasting Change for Better Enforcement of Labor and Criminal Law to Address Child Labor/Forced Labor/Human Trafficking (ATLAS) Project. This is a global program funded by the US Department of Labor (USDOL) to technically collaborate with host governments to reduce child labor (CL), forced labor (FL) and human trafficking (HT) through the following three outcomes:
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ATLAS Country Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the implementation of country-level activities based on the global technical approach. S/he will establish and maintain systems for national project operations; coordinate and maintain working relationships with project stakeholders (including ministries, high-level government officials, labor unions, private sector partners); comply with Thailand’s legislations, and Winrock’s and US government policies and procedures; and collaborate technically with government officials. This may include, but is not limited to, the following:
QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND:
Successful candidates will have strong management skills as well as relevant experience implementing programs to combat child labor, forced labor and/or human trafficking and increase government capacity. Specific experience and specialization in at least two of the following is required: child labor, forced labor, human trafficking, legal reform and policy advocacy, child protection and referral mechanisms, and/or government capacity building. Significant project management experience and leadership is highly desired.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required, in international development, management, education, law, public policy or other related field of study.
Certification, training, or experience in child protection, labor migration, organizational development or policy analysis would be an asset.
