BACKGROUND:
Love Frankie is a social change research and communication agency that specializes in supporting public and private sector organizations to design and implement social impact projects. Our research approaches are varied and often include mixing methodologies such as online communities, social media analytics, and mobile ethnography as well as more traditional quantitative and qualitative approaches.
We are headquartered in Bangkok and work through our teams and partners on projects across the Asia-Pacific region in Indonesia, Singapore, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Australia. Our clients are diverse and have ranged from Greenpeace, British Council, and USAID, to Facebook, Google, and UNDP.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As our Junior Research Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting diverse research projects while working together with researchers and project coordinators on different tasks. You can expect your work to include searching for, organizing, and analyzing information for desk reviews, coordinating and sitting-in interviews, helping with social media monitoring, and translating and analyzing data.
You will also support administrative tasks as needed. We are currently working on a range of projects from mental health analysis, to conflict dynamics and migration studies; from digital and media literacy, to countering hate speech and violent extremism through partnerships with Google and Facebook.
For this role, we are looking for a Thai national with junior-level experience with research. This is an ideal role for someone looking to develop a career in social research and/or the international development and humanitarian sectors.
