 Online Course Coordinator Position

General Overview:

 

The Rotary Peace Center at Chulalongkorn University seeksan“Online Course Coordinator/Administrator”to facilitate and provide support for Online Preliminary Course for an international training program in peace and development. The program supports The Rotary Foundation’s commitment to bring about positive social change, and toinvest in the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of mid-career professionals who demonstrate a clear commitment to the creation of systems that will support resilient, prosperous, and just societies.

 

The Rotary Peace Centerat Chulalongkorn University attracts professionals working in all sectors related to internationalrelations and development, peaceandconflictpreventionandresolution. Ourfellowsarecommittedtocommunityandinternationalserviceandthepursuitofpeace.Each year, the Rotary Peace Center hosts two program sessions with up to 20 fellows per session; one beginning in January, and another beginning in June. This position will be based at Rotary Peace Center, Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand and will report to the Center Deputy Director, and will be supported by an administrative team.

 

Duties

 

  • Administer and facilitate virtual e-learning platform
  • Work closely with speakers to develop and manage online teaching and learning sessions
  • Coordinate and follow up with fellows and mentors to meet schedule requirementson independent action plans during which fellows work on a social change initiative in their community or workplace
  • Support Deputy Director in overseeing social change initiative implementation period for each cohort, including monitoring fellows' engagement with mentors and participation in online sessions
  • Responsible for communication and public relation via social media for the Center
  • Organize webinar with fellows while away to implement social change initiatives as needed
  • Execute assignedprograms activities according to the schedules timeline

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Science, Information Technology, or related fields with at least 5 year experience in facilitating online teaching and learning platform
  • Knowledge of peace and conflict studies, development, human rights or related fields is an advantage
  • Strong inter-personal, communication and coordination skills
  • Comfortable with using computers and digital tools
  • Fluency in written and oral Thai and English languages

 

Salary: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications
