Asian Research Center for International Development (ARCID), School of Social Innovation, Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand are trying to recruit a team of researchers working on the Mekong Region and East Asia (China, Japan and Korea)

QUALIFICATION :

1. Master's Degree in Political Science or other related fields.
2. Interested in International Development in Asia and the Greater Mekong Sub-region
3. Able to write academic paper both in Thai and English.
4. Good command of speaking and writing English, with TOEFL score at least 525 or IELTS score at least 6.0
5. Able to use basic Computer Skill (MS Office)

JOB DESCRIPTION :

• The candidate will on work on East Asia (China, Japan, or South Korea)-Southeast Asian relations, with special reference to the Mekong region. 
• He/she must be good in English and speak one of the Southeast Asian languages. Preference will be given to a candidate who has some experiences working on the Mekong region and the major powers in East Asia (China, Japan and South Korea) 

SALARY:

Salary for the position is competitive.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

1. One inch portrait photograph taken no more than 6 months earlier (without a hat or any decorative item and without sunglasses);
2. A scanned copy of the degree certificate and academic transcript for every level of education, to verify that the applicant’s degree is relevant to the position applied for;
3. A scanned copy of a valid English proficiency test result;
4. A scanned copy of the house registration certificate;
5. A scanned copy of the national ID card, a civil service card, etc;
6. Scanned copies of other documents (if any), such as a marriage certificate, name change certificate, etc; and
7. Other related documents, such as academic works, research studies, certificates, etc.
8. His/her CV (In English)
9. Two to three letters of recommendation,
10. A short statement (2-3 pages) about his/her research background and interests and samples of English publication
