EDM is an NGO created to improve the tuition quality for the children from minorities

In the mountain between Doi Wawee and Doi Chang, EDM created a center “Baan Din”.

This center provide activities for children on week days evening and on Saturday.

EDM decided to help the school to switch from traditional tuition to Montessori.

So a position is created to supervise and organize the transition to Montessori starting from kindergarten. The teachers will be trained and coached by the supervisor who will make

them working as a team. He will also manage to get all the training and the equipment they need.

EDM invites volunteers to help the English tuition in the school. The volunteers stay in the center. For the center, a position will be open for a manager. He/her will organize the activities of the center. He/ her will take care and record of all the expenses. On daytime, as they are no kids in the center, he will provide some English tuition as a part-time teacher. This manager will organize the tuition of the volunteers.

As the center and the school are located in a mountain area, those positions are well for people who like to stay in a peaceful and remote place. For singles and for people who need city life, this location can be a problem on the long run . These positions can be good for a couple who like to live close to the nature.

The contract will be for 3 months at the beginning and after signed for one year period.

Position : Montessori Supervisor

                        He / Her has some experience in tuition. This person is good
                        for organizing meeting with the teachers and finding with the the solutions.
                        He/ Her has good skills in management and make the teachers to be a team.

** Some knowledge or experiences of Montessori tuition would be well apprecied but are not required.

                        Salary 16 000 bath/month (Staying, food and electricity are provided)
