Background
Working in partnership is central to Save the Children International’s (SCI) Theory of Change, and to the organization’s mission to inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children and achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives.
Thailand CO works predominantly with partners to deliver its programs. However, the CO does not have a localized partnership strategy framework that defines and articulates its direction with partners and its approach in engaging with partners based on the CO’s operating context, needs, and capacity of each partner. While there is an overall SCI framework on partnerships that identifies practice standards, different partners, program goals and contexts will require different approaches to specific partnerships. Senior Management Team (SMT) has identified the need to develop Thailand Country Office partnership Strategy 2019-2021.
Purpose
Develop Thailand Country office Partnership Strategy framework 2019-2021 to provide guidance to staff and partners on ways of working to achieve set goals, ensure that roles, responsibilities and accountabilities are clearly defined, and promote a common understanding and cohesion of activities among the various functions.
The strategy framework should be heavily informed by the approaches and learning from the civil society capacity building project, LEAP (Local Engagement to Advocate for Peace) in Thailand’s deep south.
Objectives and Deliverables
The consultant will deliver on the following objectives:
Language
