Program Officer-Capacity building &Training (Based in Bangkok) 1 positions

Responsibilities

Within the scope of work, this position is responsible for undertaking the following steps:

1. Collaborate with Raks Thai and related partners to develop appropriate training structure and execute training plan according to the key objectives and expected outcomes;
2. Coordinate with the Sub-Recipient organizations and other relevant organizations about the capacity building program
3. Develop a capacity building curriculum;
4. Develop a training plan and innovative activities with the best use of resources and time;
5. Prepare the training materials, presentations and related tools to be used in the training;
6. Facilitate the training, using proficiency and expertise to ensure deeply engagement from participants
7. Conduct the monitoring, evaluation and assessment activity to ensure the training effectiveness and its positive impact,
8. Prepare a report, including the detailed activities and training processes.
9. Other tasks or ad hoc as assignment

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in Social science, Public health, Political science, Humanity science, Communications or other relevant fields
• Previous experience working with NGOs is preferred,
• Background in HIV, Harm reduction, gender, or health is preferred.
• Experience in training, facilitation, and project management will be a plus
• Strong analytical thinking skills,
• Excellent written communication skills both in English and Thai,
• Excellent public speaking and training skills,
• Ability to work in multi-cultural environments,
• The ability to balance a process-drive approach while generating innovative ideas is imperative,
• The successful candidate will be a goal-oriented, self-starter with strong organizational skills.
