ความเป็นมาของโครงการ
ด็อกเตอร์ส วิทเอาท์ บอร์เดอร์ส (ประเทศไทย) เป็นองค์กรเอกชนในประเทศไทยที่ดำเนินงานด้านการเสริมสร้างการเข้าถึงบริการสุขภาพจิตในประเทศไทย ซึ่ง ด็อกเตอร์ส วิทเอาท์ บอร์เดอร์ส (ประเทศไทย) ดำเนินงานด้วยความเป็นกลาง และมีลักษณะการทำงานด้านการแพทย์ที่ไม่มีวัตถุประสงค์ทางศาสนา การเมือง หรือสิทธิมนุษยชน
ด็อกเตอร์ส วิทเอาท์ บอร์เดอร์ส (ประเทศไทย) ไดเริ่มดำเนินโครงการเพื่อให้บริการด้านสุขภาพจิตแก่ผู้ที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากเหตุการณ์ความไม่สงบ ที่รวมถึงระบบบริการสุขภาพจิตขั้นพื้นฐานและระบบส่งต่อผู้รับบริการอย่างเหมาะสม ซึ่งโครงการนี้ดำเนินการอยู่ในพื้นที่จังหวัดปัตตานี ทั้งนี้ ด็อกเตอร์ส วิทเอาท์ บอร์เดอร์ส (ประเทศไทย) ดำเนินงานเพื่อเสริมสร้างการเข้าถึงระบบบริการสุขภาพจิตที่มีอยู่ และเสริมสร้างศักยภาพให้แก่คนในพื้นที่ผ่านการฝึกอบรมและการให้บริการด้านสุขภาพจิต โดยจะมุ่งให้ความสำคัญกับกลุ่มผู้หญิงและเด็ก
ด็อกเตอร์ส วิทเอาท์ บอร์เดอร์ส (ประเทศไทย) เป็นองค์กรทางการแพทย์ที่ไม่เกี่ยวข้องกับการเมืองและศาสนา อีกทั้งยังเป็นองค์กรที่ไม่เลือกปฏิบัติในทางศาสนา เชื้อชาติ ความผูกพันทางการเมือง หรือเพศ
1. ขอบเขตการปฏิบัติงาน
สถานที่: จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้
ระยะเวลาสัญญา: สัญญาระยะยาว ซึ่งรวมถึงระยะทดลองงานเป็นเวลา 3 เดือน
1.1. โครงสร้างการปฏิบัติงาน
- ตำแหน่งนี้อยู่ภายใต้การนิเทศของผู้ประสานงานโครงการ
- ปฏิบัติงานภายใต้การดูแลของหัวหน้างานสุขภาพจิต
1.2. หลักการและเหตุผลของตำแหน่งงาน
ตำแหน่งนี้จะทำหน้าที่บริการให้การปรึกษาด้านจิตวิทยา และทำงานร่วมกันกับทีมสุขภาพจิต รวมถึงผู้ปฏิบัติงานด้านสุขภาพชุมชน นอกจากนี้จะทำหน้าที่ในการติดต่อประสานงานระหว่างโครงการกับสมาชิกในชุมชนและผู้รับบริการ
1.3. วัตถุประสงค์หลัก/ความรับผิดชอบหลักของตำแหน่งงาน
- ให้การปรึกษาทางจิตวิทยาและจิตสังคมแก่กลุ่มเป้าหมาย
- ดูแลและนิเทศการทำงานของนักสังคมสงเคราะห์
- ให้การสนับสนุนด้านสุขภาพจิตแก่ผู้ปฏิบัติงานด้านสุขภาพชุมชน
- ประสานงานร่วมกับทีมสุขภาพจิตเพื่อการดำเนินกิจกรรมด้านสุขภาพจิตสังคม (MHPS) ของโครงการ
- ความรับผิดชอบและภารกิจที่ได้รับมอบหมาย
- ประสานงานร่วมกันกับทีมสุขภาพจิตเพื่อยกระดับความตระหนักรู้ในด้านสุขภาพจิต โดยเฉพาะการประเมินอาการและสัญญาณด้านสุขภาพจิต ตลอดจนอภิปราย/พูดคุยถึงเคสซับซ้อน และการส่งต่อผู้ป่วย เป็นต้น
- ให้การปรึกษาทางจิตวิทยาทั้งรายบุคคลและรายกลุ่มให้กับผู้รับบริการที่มีความเสี่ยง (ผู้ใหญ่และเด็ก) : สนับสนุนความรู้ด้านวิชาการให้กับประชาชนเมื่อพบเจอเหตุการณ์วิกกฤติต่างๆ และเสริมสร้างทักษะชิวิตให้มีคุณภาพ
- เยี่ยมบ้านผู้รับบริการเพื่อประเมินและติดตามอาการต่างๆ รวมถึงอำนวยความสะดวกปัจจัยอื่นๆ
- ส่งต่อผู้ป่วยให้กับผู้เชี่ยวชาญเฉพาะด้านสุขภาพจิตและอื่นๆ เมื่อเห็นสมควร
- เฝ้าระวังอาการด้านสุขภาพจิตของผู้รับบริการ และรักษาแฟ้มประวัติผู้ป่วยให้เที่ยงตรงและแม่นยำอยู่เสมอ
- ให้ความรู้ทางสุขภาพจิต (จิตศึกษา) หรือกิจกรรมทางจิตวิทยาอื่นๆ ให้กับระดับต่างๆ เช่น โรงเรียน ชุมชน หรือหน่วยงานต่างๆที่เห็นสมควร เป็นต้น
- บริการให้ความช่วยเหลือและฝึกอบรมผู้ปฏิบัติงานด้านสุขภาพจิตชุมชน ผู้ให้การปรึกษา และเจ้าหน้าที่คนอื่นๆที่เกี่ยวข้อง
- รวบรวมและติดตามข้อมูลเชิงสถิติที่เกี่ยวข้องกับกระบวนการรักษาและกิจกรรมให้การปรึกษาตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย
- บันทึกรายงานการทำงานให้กับหัวหน้างานอย่างต่อเนื่อง
- เข้าร่วมการประชุมเจ้าหน้าที่รายสัปดาห์ และเข้ารับคำแนะนำ/ปรึกษาหัวหน้างานอย่างต่อเนื่อง
- เคารพและให้เกียรติประชาชน ผู้รับบริการ เพื่อนร่วมงาน ผู้เชี่ยวชาญอื่นๆ และเจ้าหน้าที่อื่นๆ อยู่เสมอ
- ดำเนินงานอื่นๆ ตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย
- คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร
การศึกษา: ปริญญาตรีด้านจิตวิทยาคลินิกและจิตวิทยาสาขาอื่นๆ หากมีประสบการณ์และมีใบประกอบโรคศิลปะจะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ
ภาษา: สามารถใช้ภาษาไทยและภาษามลายูได้ดีทั้งการเขียน การอ่านและการพูด หากมีความสามารถด้านภาษาอังกฤษจะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ
ประสบการณ์: มีประสบการณ์ด้านการวินิจฉัยทางคลินิกและการให้การปรึกษาทางจิตวิทยา
ทักษะ:
- สามารถสื่อสารได้ดีและมีทักษะทางสังคม (เช่น มีทักษะการฟังอย่างใส่ใจ มีทัศนคติที่ดี เข้าใจความรู้สึกผู้อื่น ความเคารพ มีไหวพริบ ความอดทน)
- มีทักษะการทำงานเป็นองค์กรและการทำงานเป็นทีม
- มีความคิดริเริ่ม ความยืดหยุ่น ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ และการคิดวิเคราะห์
- มีความสามารถในการปรับตัวได้ดี
- มีความรู้และทักษะการใช้คอมพิวเตอร์ (Word, Excel, Power point และอื่นๆ)
- มีความรู้เกี่ยวกับเทคนิคในการบำบัดรูปแบบต่างๆ
- มีความสนใจในการช่วยเหลือบุคคลที่อยู่ในกลุ่มเสี่ยง/เปราะบาง
- มีประสบการณ์ในการพัฒนาศักยภาพและความตระหนักรู้ด้านสุขภาพจิต

BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT
Doctors without Borders Thailand (DWBT) is a Thai company working to increase access to mental health in Thailand. DWBT is neutral, impartial and is solely medical in nature with no religious, political or human rights objectives.
DWBT has started a project to primarily provide mental health services for people affected by the unrest, including basic mental health and physiotherapy services and an appropriate system of referral where needed. The project is based in Pattani. DWBT is working to strengthen the existing mental health system and to build local capacity through trainings and the provision of mental health services primarily focusing on women and children affected by the unrest.
DWBT is a non-political, non-religious medical organisation and does not discriminate based on religion, race, political affiliation or sex.
1. TERMS OF REFERENCES
Location: Southern Provinces
Contract period: Long term with 3 month probation period
- Hierarchically, under Project Coordinator and
- Functionally, under Mental Health Supervisor
1.2. Justification of the position
The position will be providing services of mental health and work together with mental health team and the community health workers. It also will act as the liaison between the project and the community members and clients.
1.3. Main objectives/responsibilities of the position
- Perform the mental health and psychosocial (MSPS) consultations with target groups
- Supervise the work of social workers and Community Health workers
- Provide mental health support to community health workers.
- Coordinate with the MH team towards quality implementation of MHPS activities in the project
- RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Coordination with medical team: MH awareness to improve detection of mental health symptoms and signs, especially, assessment of mental health symptoms and signs including discussion of difficult cases, referrals etc
- Provide individual and/or group psychological counselling for population at risk (adults and children): support coping process of the population and mobilize their inner resources for processing traumatic experiences and finding new life perspective
- Visit beneficiaries at home in order to assess needs and follow up evolution when required.
- Refer patients to other health professionals whenever necessary
- Provide ongoing monitoring of beneficiaries’ status and maintain clinical files accurately
- Provide psycho-education or other psychosocial activities to the community, schools, and organizations when required
- Assist and train Psychosocial Community Workers, counsellors and other staff members and resourceful people from the community
- Collect statistical and monitoring data about sessions and counselling activities on weekly basis
- Make regular reports of work to the supervisor.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and regular supervision sessions

- REQUIREMENTS
Education: University degree in psychology, with clinical psychology stream a benefit
Preference will be given to licenced clinical psychologists
Languages: Fluency in Thai and Malay for speaking, reading and writing, English an added advantage
Experience: Experience in clinical diagnosis and psychological counselling
Skills: Proven communication and social skills (attentive listening, open attitude,
empathy, respect, sensitivity, patience)
- Established organisational and team work skills
- Initiative, flexibility, creativity and analysis capacity
- Adjustment to changes capacity
- Essential computer literacy (word, excel, internet)
- Essential knowledge of different therapeutic techniques
- Interest in helping vulnerable people
- Experience in developing capacity and awareness in mental health
