GaneshAID is looking for National Field Investigator who is based Thailand with international public health experience to participate in a business feasibility study of establishing a Regional Asia-Pacific Centre of Excellence in health & immunization commodity supply chains.
Working context:
GaneshAID is a nonprofit consultancy firm that serves the public health sector and specializes in preventing and controlling communicable and non-communicable diseases in Asia and Africa. We combine creativity and expertise to design transformative solutions that are tailored to our clients’ needs.
GaneshAID is an international company that has operated primarily out of Hanoi, Vietnam since 2013.
In the framework of GaneshAID’s collaboration with Gavi, a BFS is being conducted from January to July 2018. The general objective of the BFS is to assess the success factors and critical barriers facing prospective locations for a Regional Asia-Pacific Centre of Excellence (RACE) for health and immunization commodity supply chains in Gavi-eligible countries in the Asia Pacific Region. It will be conducted during the business development phase of the RACE, in anticipation of the development of a formal business plan or “road map” of the Regional Centre of Excellence once the location is identified. Key insights will be used to support the decision-making process for the selection of a location and host based on a cost benefit analysis of the RACE’s viability. The feasibility study will generate key information, evidence-based recommendations, and an indication of limitations in order to assist decision-makers (Gavi, WHO, UNICEF, governments) in determining if the RACE business concept is viable in the locations selected. The BFS will be implemented in close coordination with governments as well as regional and country offices of UNICEF and WHO. GaneshAID will design, implement, and monitor the business feasibility study in close collaboration with the Gavi Secretariat, as well as WHO and UNICEF partners at the global level.
