ChildFund International Asia Regional Office is looking for a Regional Finance Analyst, this person is working under supervision of the Regional Finance Manager in the analysis, consolidation and review of monthly financial reports and other financial data.  Additionally, the Regional Finance Analyst will be responsible in coordinating and/or providing training, guidance and support to ensure the smooth and orderly preparation of plans and budget and its input to financial systems.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for analysis of financial data for sponsorship, grants and non sponsorship programs and providing comments and/or suggested courses of actions.
• Ensure integrity of financial statements through review of end month reports from Country Offices (COs)
• Ensure timely submission to International Office of financial corporate report (CPR) and corresponding backup information from COs.
• Ensure that CO programs are provided with the appropriate management information systems that allows for analysis and timely feedback and follow ups
• Identifies and coordinates the capacity building and training needs for non finance managers towards building quality financial management.
• Assist in the development of effective and efficient coordination processes and formulation of strategy to ensure compliance to and orderly implementation of finance software applications
• Coordinate the provision of and/or provide technical assistance required for  financial software application to operate effectively and  efficiently
• Organize, conduct and coordinate the training on financial management systems and software systems at the Country and Regional Office
• Assist Country and Regional Office/s in designing or modifying existing budget / cost proposals  aligned with revenue inflows
• All other analytical tasks and assignments that the RFM may require from time to time   

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• Experience (3 years) in financial analysis – preferably in development or not for profit sector
• Thai Nationality
• Strong proven experience in system management, trouble shooting, and capacity building in computerized Financial Management / Accounting software / systems
• Experience working on financial data management (development and implementation) systems
• Advanced analytical skills in system design, operations and trouble shooting
• Team development skills
• Fluency in English required
• Training skills and experience preferred
• Required travel of 30 – 40% in developing nations
