Context:

Under the direct supervision of the Project staff in Ranong and the overall supervision of the Project Manager, the successful candidate will provide translation and interpretation support for the Emergency and Post-Crisis Unit’s project “Humanitarian Assistance to Muslims from Myanmar and Special At-Risk Groups in Thailand”.

Core Functions / Responsibilities:

In coordination with the Project Staff, provide interpretation and translation services to the Project Staff in Ranong and Phang Nga provinces;

In coordination with the Project Staff, provide interpretation and translation services in Rohingya and Thai (or English) for psychosocial activities in project locations in Ranong and Phang Nga provinces;

In coordination with the Project Staff, provide interpretation and translation services in Rohingya and Thai (or English) for the provision of material and service support to the project beneficiaries, including accompanying the Project Staff’s medical assistance, provision of non-food items and other materials, as well as monitoring and evaluation visits in Ranong and Phang Nga provinces;

Undertake duty travels as necessary to provide interpretation assistance in Rohingya and Thai (or English) to areas of intervention i
