LOCATION: Phang Nga Field Office
CONTRACT LENGTH: One year with possible extension
Save the Children International are the world's leading independent organisation for children. Save the Children in Thailand has doubled its portfolio, built a Program Development and Quality unit and opened its field offices in Mae Sot, Phang-Nga and Pattani. The Country Office is implementing all programs with partners, and responds to multiple small and medium-scale emergencies each year, including the current Andaman Sea Crisis. Save the Children in Thailand is positioned as a leader in refugee and migrant education, is influential in protection related policies and action plans, and has launched a new road safety program, the 7% Project.
Save the Children is currently looking for skilled, dynamic and self-motivated persons to fill in the position of Finance Assistant
ROLE PURPOSE:
The Finance Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day and monthly accounting and in administration of the Finance Function. The position will process that accounting practice is performed in compliance with SCI policies and procedures and donor regulations
SCOPE OF ROLE:
Reports to: Senior Field Coordinator (in coordination with Finance Manager)

Review requisition/cash vouchers (against budget, coding, authority, policy, supporting docs, accuracy)
