Under the supervision of Head of ICT region for Asia-Pacific, ICT Monitoring Specialist will be dealing with monitoring tasks for all critical ICT services in ASIA region. 

The position holder will have the following responsibilities:

 Job purpose:

  • Takes care of the monitoring tasks for all critical ICT services in ASIA region
  • Efficiently uses provided monitoring tools for troubleshooting and preventions
  • Alerts and escalates monitoring incidents / problems to the right ICT level
  • Advices and assists ICT field engineers on monitoring incident resolutions
  • Follows up open monitoring tickets and escalated problems
  • Takes care of the Service Desk incident supervision tasks in the ASIA region
  • Follows up the categorization and flow of Service Desk tickets in the region
  • Generates regular or ad-hoc reports and regular statistics on both services
  • Registers and treats information methodically and with accuracy

 Your education and experience:

  • University degree in ICT (computer science, telecommunications, etc)
  • 4 years’ work experience in a similar function
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Sound knowledge on LAN/WAN
  • Sound knowledge on Windows Client/Server Systems
  • Good experience in Systems and Network monitoring tools (SCOM, SCCM, WhatsUp, PRTG, etc)
  • Good knowledge of ITIL framework

 Competencies requirements:

  • Flexible and able to occasional travel within the region
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment autonomous with sense of initiative
  • Capacity to integrate and implement ICRC policies and procedures
  • Confirmed capacity to work independently in a methodical way
  • Willingness of self-education in IT-related fields
  • Good analytical and communication skills
  • Good sense of initiative
  • Strong interpersonal skills
