Position:  Finance Officer – 4CA Project

Assignment duration: One year contract with likely extension

Duty station: Chiang Rai

JOB BACKGROUND: The Finance Officer will be support the Child-centered Climate Change Adaptation (4CA) project to ensure that all financial tasks and required finance documents are completed in an accurate and timely manner according to donor’s compliance and Plan’s regulation.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare payment voucher including staff cash advance
• Review staff cash advance liquidation report
• Prepare project’s financial report including spending analysis to accommodate budget management and control
• Ensure that all scanned bills have been submitted to the donors
• Support preparing project cash flow and cash requirement by monthly, quarterly and annually
• Budget control and monitoring to ensure grant spending compliance
• Organize related files to be in order
• Prepare account reconciliation report
• Support audit work if any

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, or business administration; minimum four years’ experience in grants administration or financial analysis; preferably with NGOs; attention to accuracy and detail; proactive and flexible; good English skills; experience with SAP as added advantage.
