Position Title:                         Logistic Coordinator

Supervisor:                            Operations Manager

Type of Appointment:          Full time, local hire position

Position Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and coordinating all office-related issues and facilities management, administrative support of Pact staff, including assistance in office procurement and events organization process.

 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for office supplies (including ordering and storing), office furniture (including discussions on selection), office equipment and package deliveries/pickups including rentals;
  • Arrange logistics for travel, meetings, workshops and other events in cooperation with other staff
  • Provide administrative support for Chief of Party and Senior Advisors (making appointments, etc.)
  • In cooperation with other staff develop and maintain vendors, consultants’ database and ensure that this information is available to all staff;
  • Complete payment vouchers forms and other administrative forms required under Pact policies;
  • Maintain documentation on inventory tracking;
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge:

  • Ability to sustain interpersonal and professional relationships with internal colleagues and contacts in donor and peer organizations
  • Strong planning and time management skills, ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
  • Attention to detail
  • Creativity and flexibility
  • Competence using common desktop applications and internal systems, including Microsoft Office Suites

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in relevant field
  • Minimum of (5) five years’ work experience in a similar role
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • High energy and ability to multitask
  • Attention to details and deadline oriented
  • A demonstrated interest in international development
