Consultant for 2017 Partnership Capacity Building
Background
Senior Management Team (SMT) has identified the need to strengthen partnerships within our Save the Children Thailand program and staff as a top priority in 2017. Areas for improvement include:
Purpose
Strengthen Save the Children Thailand’s capacity to manage mutually beneficial and strategic partnerships.

Diversify and strengthen partnership portfolio |
· Review existing partners, map strengths and location against country strategy (CSP) · Identify gaps in partnership areas in our CSP; map potential new (innovative) partners · Develop a plan work plan to engage potential new partners |

· Lead in organizing and facilitating an all-partner workshop in October · Ensure partners contribute to the workshop by preparing learning to be shared and supporting facilitation · Document the event with a final (brief) report including reflections on future improvements |

Language
All documents should be written in English and those that will be accessible to partners will need to be translated into Thai. This work is expected to be considered as part of the consulting services.
Travel
Some domestic travel to Save the Children field offices (Mae Sot, Phang Nga, Pattani) may be required. Travel costs (accommodation, transport, and flight only) will be covered by Save the Children as additional to the consultancy costs. Any interpretation needed is expected to be considered as part of the consulting service.
Management
The consultant will report to the Country Director; with frequent communication and guidance from other Senior Management Team members, particularly the Senior Manager for Program Implementation.
